Thilina is a graduate of the City School of Architecture and an Associate Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects. He is also a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Thilina worked for 8 years under the guidance of renowned architects Archt. Palinda Kannangara, Archt. Peshali Perera and, Archt. Mihindu Keerthiratne. During this time he gathered experience in multi disciplinary practices with some notable projects being Cinnamon Life Colombo, Anantara Peace Haven Resort Tangalle, and Warakapola Base Hospital. Thilina formed his own practice in 2016 as Thilina Vithanage Architects.

Thilina Vithanage Architects was formed in 2016 and has expanded to cater to a vast range of projects of different types and scales. Our goal as an architectural practice is to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction while assuring the novelty and uniqueness of each project and focusing on the environment and sustainability. We also shape our architecture to cater to each client’s unique taste, requirements, budget, and time constraints.
